About This Ornament

Each ornament is cut in our shop from two layers of ¼" maple, stacked and bonded so the state's line art lifts away from the backing piece. The result is a real, dimensional keepsake with visible depth and shadow — ½" thick, with the weight and grain of genuine wood. 

The artwork is minimalist line work: the landmarks, symbols, and scenery that actually belong to each state, drawn simply enough to read from across the room and detailed enough to reward a closer look.

Care

Wood is a natural material and likes to be treated like one. Dust gently with a dry, soft cloth. Keep away from direct moisture, humidity, and prolonged direct sunlight, which can fade or warp any wood over time. Store wrapped in tissue in a dry spot between seasons and it will outlast the tree it hangs on.

A Note From Our Family

Every ornament that leaves our shop passed through our hands first. We cut them in small batches, check each one, and pack them the way we'd want one packed if it were coming to our own house. Thank you for letting our little shop be part of your family's Christmas.
